Trojans Get a Hard Fought Win Against the Aggies

Taj Gibson led all scores with 22 points, all coming inside the paint. Dwight Lewis added 16 points, and Daniel Hackett had 10. They were the only Trojans in double digits as the USC Trojans defeated the New Mexico State Aggies 73-60.

Forward Taj Gibson scored 17 points, including six straight in a decisive second-half run, and No. 18 Southern California defeated UC Irvine 78-55 Saturday to win its first season opener in four years.
